If you already publish long-form video or spoken content, you may already have the raw material for a podcast catalogue. The challenge is everything around it: preparing episodes, running feeds, distributing to platforms, managing monetisation, tracking performance and collecting revenue.
dB adds that operating layer without asking you to build a second workflow.

Your original content stays yours.
Ownership and day-to-day management are two different things. Here is exactly what each side holds.
- You retain ownership of your original content and recordings.
- dB receives only the rights needed to prepare, distribute, manage and monetise the podcast content covered by the agreement.
- dB manages the specific feeds, accounts and podcast versions it creates or operates.
- We do not make changes to your YouTube channel or YouTube podcast playlists unless separately agreed in writing.
- You can request reasonable content or platform takedowns.
For agencies and managers
Manage a roster? One framework can cover multiple creators.
For agencies and managers, dB can establish an umbrella framework while each creator opts in individually. dB handles podcast operations and creator-level reporting, while the agency remains the commercial point of contact.
- Creator-by-creator opt-in
- Roster-level commercial framework
- Individual creator payouts
- Agency share where agreed
- Direct operational support from dB

What exactly does dB do?
dB turns suitable existing and future video or audio content into a managed podcast catalogue. We can handle content preparation, editing, hosting, RSS operations, distribution, platform administration, monetisation, royalty collection, reporting and ongoing client support.
Do I need to already have a podcast?
No. We work with creators starting from zero as well as creators who already have a podcast. If you already have one, we first review the current setup and only recommend migration or a change if we believe there is a meaningful improvement to make.
What type of content works best?
Long-form, speech-led content with consistent audience engagement is usually the strongest fit. We review each channel individually because platform rules, audience behaviour and monetisation eligibility can vary.
Is there a minimum audience size?
We focus primarily on established creators, but we do not use one public hard threshold. We assess audience activity, recent traction, content format, consistency and commercial fit together. Send us your channel and we will review it.
Will this change anything on my YouTube channel?
No. dB does not make changes to your YouTube channel or YouTube podcast playlists unless we separately agree to do so in writing. The podcast operation is designed to sit alongside what you already do.
Who owns my content?
You retain ownership of your original content and recordings. Our agreement gives dB the limited rights needed to edit, host, distribute, promote and monetise the podcast content we manage.
What does it cost?
There are no upfront setup fees or ordinary hosting fees. dB works on an agreed share of the revenue generated through the managed podcast operation, so our commercial interests are aligned with yours.
Do you guarantee monetisation or earnings?
No. We manage monetisation opportunities and use commercially reasonable efforts to distribute and monetise the podcast, but platform acceptance, eligibility, audience growth and earnings depend on third-party platform rules and performance. We do not guarantee a specific result.
How quickly can the podcast go live?
Timing depends on the amount of content, setup requirements and platform processing. We aim to make the setup straightforward and will give you a realistic launch plan after reviewing your channel. Ongoing releases are then managed around an agreed schedule.
Where do you distribute?
Distribution can include Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music and other major podcast, audio and streaming platforms, together with additional platforms that are commercially appropriate for the show.
How does monetisation work?
Depending on eligibility and the platform, monetisation can include advertising, programmatic ads, premium video revenue, memberships or subscriptions, sponsorships, licensing and other supported methods. dB manages the operational side and collects the relevant revenue on your behalf.
When and how do I get paid?
Royalties are accounted monthly. Platform reporting and payment cycles are delayed, so payments are normally received after the underlying platform funds have reached dB. Payments can be made by bank transfer, PayPal or another agreed method, subject to the terms of the agreement.
Can I see performance and royalty information?
Yes. dB provides royalty reporting when payments are due and can provide relevant performance information and support throughout the relationship.
What is the contract term?
Our standard direct creator agreement starts with a 12-month term and automatically renews for additional 12-month periods unless either party gives at least 30 days’ notice before the end of the current term. After the first six months, either party can also terminate for convenience with 60 days’ written notice.
What happens to my podcast if the agreement ends?
We stop publishing new content after termination. Existing content can remain live unless removal is requested. Revenue received later from content distributed during the agreement continues to be accounted for under the agreed split, and the RSS feed/show control can be transferred subject to platform mechanics.
Can you work with my agency or management company?
Yes. We have a separate agency framework designed for managed rosters. Individual creators can opt in under the framework, while commercial coordination and roster-level reporting can remain with the agency.
Can I ask for content to be removed?
Yes. You can make reasonable written takedown requests for specific content or platforms. Actual removal timing can depend on the platform.
Want to see what dB could do with your content?
Send us your channel or podcast link. Our team will review the content and current setup and tell you whether we see a genuine opportunity.
